The owners were absolutely horrible, first off they were rude and aggressive especially the little old lady. Won’t come back again. If you are intending of coming here, DO NOT !

I’ve started fishing there, there are a lot off carp on top, I don’t try and catch them, a bloke had a 15lb,and loads off small fish,it a great place for all round fishing, I got plenty off fish. The owner was friendly to me. If your a beginner or not worried about the size you catch. I would go there, bargain at £6

Beautiful little spot, we went down to visit one of the shops there and sat and had a picnic while watching the men fish. Its lovely.

Got some meat for an open day bbq, lots of people commented on the quality and taste. I got service with a smile and good value for money. Will definitely be going to shop here again.

Visited the Cafe for bacon and sausage baps. Lovely ingredients but not served hot. When advising staff if our disappointment at cold food we were told it is not intended to be hot! Who intentionally serves cold bacon and sausage?????

Not a great place to fish. All the good fish were netted and sold. Owners are very rude and un welcoming. Avoid this place. Get yourself down to bulley lane or broadstone park where the staff are super friendly

Great lake and success after fishing for the first time there, only £6 per rod for a day ticket. Fished near to the island area caught a 9lb and a 14lb common carp using a range of boilies. Fairly tough fishing but with some patience and clever fishing can bring out some very nice big carp. Also lots and lots of small silvers and bream that surface if you are looking for some fun pole fishing or a bit of float fishing.

They have their own butchers so there and the meat is second to non. You would be hard pushed to find meat of this quality. They also have a guy that sells fresh fish twice a week.

had best part of 30 bream today all on float fished meat 3 small around 6oz 25/26 around 2Ld mark oh and an eel of around half pound thanks to that had to re rig or i may have had more. carp not interested today all just sunbathing lol, 08.09.20 another day no carp but 8 dinner plate bream 18 tea plate skimmers an couple roach carp just swim by sayin look at me cant get me. 31.03.21 another fine day at the lake lost 1 big carp but then pulled in 23 beam dinner plate size around the 2 pound mark and then 3 nice tea plate size skimmers 6 to 8oz no roach for a change but hey 26 fish in 5hrs all on corn cant be bad for this time of year, roll on summer
