A quiz was on so we was kindly sat away from that so we could hear each other! Menu was very sparse, about 4-5 things to choose from! Slightly expensive but had a lot of food on our plates!

If you are looking for some frozen scampi out of a bag and some standard fries (advertised as gourmet chips), look no further. Beyond basic. Embarrassing experience as I was hosting. We were also forgotten as we were seated out of view of the bar. Only people eating so completely soulless experience. Will not be returning.

Quality service and food. About time a friendly atmosphere was projected from this place. Great turn around by the new owners.

Dreadful menu especially considering the glamouress photos on their website. A choice of a burger or sausage and mash is literally all there is. This place could be a gold mine but it’s new ownership clearly hasn’t a clue. Update. New menu available shortly after. Menu looks good but prices will put a lot of past and future customers off. £18.50 for a burger, £1.50 more expensive than the Ivy! Ate there at the weekend, a special which was chicken and pesto pasta, chicken was nicely cooked but the pasta was very overcooked and the sauce a little bland: my friends bagel was good apparently. Work to be done.

Always a cosy atmosphere in winter and sunny beer garden in summer. Recently under new ownership and back on form after some hard times during/after Covid … friendly service, good selection of drinks and food :) Please support a local pub!

Just a quick bite, will up date when we have a meal, this was on the off-chance for a quick bite and as they are the new owners/managers thought I would try them out I was not disappointed, plenty of food on my plate and friendly staff. Will be back. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entry and quiet level in side.

Went for food outside. Long wait for food that was mediocre. Staff "walking" the dog while others ate was not appetising. Mentioned Long wait and vegan burger disappointment and got a sorry but no money off. Not very tidy either. Bench that bowed considerably and a cigarette packet left on another bench...

How could you better a restaurant with a view like this! The food also was pretty good at reasonable prices. I'll definitely return as will my friend who lives locally.

Family friendly pub, beer garden next to a big climbing frame but separated enough to still be quiet. Dogs welcome. Good undercover outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Hearty traditional pub grub and a very good steak.

Great food in a bit of a dated environment. It has everything a good pub needs, like an outside area, plenty of parking, WiFi, dog friendly. The place looks and feels worn out, so the environment isn't that nice. The menus look like someone typed them out in Microsoft Word in 10 minutes. The food is really good though, and the staff are great. The steak with pepper sauce was fantastic and there was loads on the plate. The desserts are really nicely presented. Not the cheapest place around but it's a fair price for food this good.
